Buxton Friendship Village Museum and Archives, Conceptualize!

Nurtured Implemented by visionary Keith (Kwesi) Easton.

Reflectively The ancestral Coomacka (Kumaka), Baobab, and Sycamore trees are swaying.

Iconically Farmers are sowing seeds that are germinating with edible fruits and the land is vibrating with an energy that will continue to evolve with time - in time.

Seemingly This will provide opportunities aimed at rekindling the ancestral fortitude, which can promote resilient entrepreneurial contributions in molding the socioeconomic fabric of the nation of Guyana.

Succinctly Museum activities will encourage cultural awareness and transformative partnership/opportunities for consultations in the promotion and preservation of the rich diverse history - traditional stories and practices that cut across ethnic boundaries. Lectures, forums, stage presentations and designs; local expressions in drama, literature, music, art, dialects, sayings, folk lore, legends, folk dances, costumes, family memorabilia, films, and religious practices will be used as vehicles for this historical preservation.

Innately Vision transcends thought! Be “upful and upright!” Sankofa birds are surging!
